One building owner's trash is another photographer's treasure.
Abandoned buildings are a gem to take photos in. The outbreak of rust, the shards of glass, the suffocating aroma of cement, the anticipation of getting caught and kicked out (never happened though) — they all play a part in telling the story.
My super talented friend, Anders, and I snuck into one a few weeks ago to take some pictures — the big old one on Front and Bathurst, you can't miss it. Check it out during the weekends, when it's not busy and work on the adjacent construction site comes to a halt (you didn't hear it from me).
90% of the pictures were shot with the 50mm and I was able to use the natural light beaming through its large, shattered windows.
